    It would be amazing if the Skink alpha rule remained but was all units within 8" of it now. Would make a first turn charge feasible.

    first turn charge is already super feasible with the sotek faction, rippers have 17" move turn one, cogs can give the charge +2 and the constellation another +1... so you are looking at 5" charges turn one. with no deepstrike.

    OR they separated the shooting from the other abilities, which is why its a 2D6 now!

    I guess its not needed then if Cogs goes off. +3 from Sotek and +1 from Constallaion on their 8". With Cogs, would leave an 8" charge.

    I believe the ability is still in the hero phase, you just get to fire it a second time during the shooting phase. It would be interesting as you would be able to reposition before doing it again (after movement phase).

    With this command ability the steggadons will probably have a low amount jaw attacks with high dmg potential. With this and coalesced atleast 2 extra jaw attacks.

    It's basically only good for monster mash unless saurus get multiple wounds or it brings models back.

    I hope they don't trade that for horns... that would be silly considering the build of the model lol but maybe fewer attacks in each, stomps jaws horns etc, for a slight increase in attacks overall.

    I also like the fact that Skinstarpriests and Starseers can horde some cmd points. Really look like we will be a cmd point heavy army. (Think starseer would het the 4+ right?)

    Also with the command trait of the Koatsclaw.

    I cant see the image due to work filters, but I thought the command point generation was starpriests and starseers, not regular priests

    Only good for monster mash if you have wounded models, which is not super often. It would say if you could bring models back and it does not, that's almost exclusively a death mechanic anyway.

    This looks like a lot of fun!! Haha. I have 5 steggies and 3 bastiladons. That list won't be super competitive, but man it sure will be fun!!!

    i hope there are more monster options than just stegadon. Need a few carnosaurs in there to mop up after stegadons get charged.

    Uhm. Yeah. Loss of Thunderquake still means you need MASSIVE buffs to the warscrolls to make this feasible. Without an ability to help with objective control this needs to work like the 5x Bloodthirster list. I don't really see this happening whatsoever.
