sorry we didnt get the book yet and not a full grasp of wat the battalions do. Could you summerize? also, if you have time, the subfactions?
Good Morning even though there is a lot of rumor going on .... LOL.... i'm so happy to preorder today. But this morning came a question through my mind. is it impossible that starborn work together with coalesced? i mean i should not work because of the lore so far. but has anybody else thought of that?
well crap bad news for people who own more then 1 EotG At the start of your shooting phase, you can make 1 cosmic engine roll for 1 model with this ability
SO, today i was scheduled for a 40k apocalypse. Which would be truly nice, but it happened in the worst possible moment. How am i supposed to analyze our shiny new warscrolls?!? but don't worry guys, I've already given a glance at them, and it seems we have many things upon we can work. Our old playstyle has definitely gone down the toilet… but the amount of synergies we can pull up it's impressive, to say the least. I foresee lists that rely on large amount of small heroes to sum offensive and defensive buffs upon buffs. And Command points farming to exploit them.
I won't give a definitive answer yet, but yes, I think it's a logical assumption. A pity because i liked our "old" playstyle.
with some tweaks it could work again. I’m interested in trying out FoS if they fix summoning, battalions or there’s a gotcha I haven’t found yet. The command trait for a 3+ command point and the artifact to slay a model on a 5+ is good
what can I say, people are silly and dramaqueens... In a week we'l have a F.A.Q. and they'l be moaning again until 2 days later @LizardWizard shows another list and we're over the moon again. well that's extremely boring and sucks... I would've hoped it'd at least give the priest/wizard garisonning it a +1 to casting or something... This and summoning becoming completly luck-based are by far the biggest two dissapointments in this release. issue is that stalling is nearly never fun for the opponent (in nearly very game and sport).. In general, control playstyles have this nasty habit of being increadibly annoying to play against. And it's difficult as hell to balance. I can understand why they moved away from it. I think the basti might end up surprising you. There's some rather nice potential for defensive synergy. Stick it near an astrolith, put a bound emerald swarm near him and you now have a 1+ save, 6+ ward save, healing D3 wounds/turn. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if we still have a healing spell in our spell lore for some extra healing. Basicly with the right set-up I wouldn't be surprised if it can only be killed by someone oneshotting it. Lol, that has to be a mistake, a hilarious one and they might leave it in. But that can't have been entirely intended well that's dissapointing.. I really wish they'd stop putting these kind of limitations in. It feels lame for various "rules of one" to consistently screw over interesting lists...
My favorite gem so far: Thunder lizard Skink chief on stegadon Command trait: prime warbeast Artifact: cloak of feathers What you have here is a -1 to hit, 12” move flying stegadon that gets the following attacks fully buffed from: prime warbeast (+1 all attacks) coalesced (+1 jaw attack) thunderquake (+1 all attacks) sacred asterism: the great drake (+1 all attacks), command ability: coordinated strike (+1 all attacks) and command ability: herald of the old ones (+1 to hit) Meteor warspear 6 attacks Massive horns 6 attacks Grinding jaws 7 attacks Crushing stomps 9 attacks all hitting on 2+ wounding 3+ for a potential of 62 damage!
