He arrived today! Confirmation of home working until at least 20th April arrived as so I may even get started on it!
Be careful when assembling the beasty you got to do a bit of cutting at the resin to get em loose. But once assembles it shines brighter and bigger than all (maniacal laughter)
you may also want some green stuff to fill in the gaps if it doesn't align correctly... it wont align correctly, get the green stuff
I'm back with a noticeable fun fact. Thanks to roar or ruin and the other -1 to bravery I find my opponents have a huge tendency to burn inspiring presence a lot due to not wanting to lose an entire squad. Who knew that forcing people to lose d6 enemies in the battleshock would be so effective (picks goblin remains from teeth)
Wow, that is nice. Though with armies that generate more CP/turn it might work less effective. Grrr, Imrahil
Comming from a guy memeing with a 3 dread saurian build it is lovely to burn up to 3 cp from your foe right off the bat
From what I am noticing on when to use my roars is that on average for battleshocks I can make my opponent burn roughly 2 cp a turn if they want to hold my dumb ass build off if I get turn 1. From what I know each one can use its own roar of ruin so using it on separate turns and stacking each of their -1 to bravery so. This is papa nurgles levels of toxic play
Then ive been playing wrong and have horribly miscalculated on that. Also would like to figure out if thats true
So I’m just finishing up painting my dread saurian and have a question for those of you that have them. I plan on using the slanns command ability to make him fly most turns, but when I don’t I’m worried about terrain. With the big base, what’s the rules for ‘climbing over’ shorter walls say 4 inches tall plus. Can he climb over at the cost of 4 inches to his move, or is it 8 inches since he goes up one side and down the other?
I believe the core rules stated you have to spend movement to go up and down the terrain piece. doesnt make much sense as a dread saurian could presumably step over most walls...
doesnt make much sense as a dread saurian could presumably step over most walls...[/QUOTE] yah this is my thoughts exactly. Especially on the smaller terrain say 1 inch walls
Dont bother with it. Use it on someone else or use a different buff spell on the big lug. Give em a detachment of skinks if he has to travel a decent distance. More or less just keep the slann guarded of course nearish to him to get that spell resist buff and just go chewing on everything
Sorry if I sounded crass My man. But the more I'm playing myself the more I realize that even though I I krump things rather easily wholesale. The cost really makes it hard for me to want to take him without meming or playing narriative
