This is a list that I want to try. Although it is starhost, the summoning will be kept mostly to a minimum, as the list really wants to spam mortal wounds through spells and then finish off units with fully buffed saurus warriors. Dracothions Tail is taken to buff the slann with Ancient knowledge and to give the Old blood on carnosaur the amazing Godbeast Pendant. Keeping units in the stars will be less about alpha striking and more about keeping important units alive should the opponent get to go first. Sunblood will be killing some heroes too with the -3 rend blade of realities. Really looking forward to seeing how the mortal wound output from the spells does. I think I’m going to try it Saturday at a local event just to see how well it does. Thunderquake with double tapping bastilidons and salamanders seems most competitive list at the moment, but If I face that list with this one, I should have advantage.
Even gimped summoning is still powerful in a tournament setting. As excited as I am for the power of Coalesced, it’s comforting to have the ability to win scenarios with summoning skinks.
i just like the teleport and i think that saurus work beter in star born my list will have 3x30 blocks of spears but clubs are solid to
20 seems like the magic number for clubs. Any more than that and I’d be unable to get guys into combat and I’d want the spears then. I may end up doing something similar if the mortal wound spam doesn’t work out probably drop the endless spells and focus on upping the count on spear saurus.
im just not used to using big blocks of line men i need all the help i can get untill my positioning skills are as good with them as i am with skinks
I’m not sure about taking the cogs until the FAQ rules whether you can sac multiple spells for ccp. Any suggestions on what a good replacement would be?
You could try running Lauchon. He seems like a decent way to get your big saurus blob up the table quickly.
