I’ve based everything to round now. So I’ll make better pictures soon. I dont have the best painting skills, but I like to see the progress with each unit I paint. A bit proud of the stegadon, cant wait to finish him![]()
Exactly, no one ever got better at a thing by not doing it.Ok @IggyStarhost listen up, we all had crap painting skills, practice, practice is the key.
We don’t care how good you paint we just love seeing people’s models and the journey they take in the hobby, trust me on this, paint and post regular pics in a year you will be amazed at your progress, I won’t because I believe everyone can paint you just need to practice.
At some point you will start to think how do I improve? that is when we come in and try to guide you the best we can.
Excellent start keep the pics coming
...and magicpractice is the key.
That's been my strategy... so far, you're right... it isn't working!Exactly, no one ever got better at a thing by not doing it.

Good advice. It also depends on what you're painting. Sometimes I get away with one layer of basepaint, but like my averland sunset if it's not over white usually take 3+ thin coats to achieve coverage. This is why I work off a white primer? haha

No sure about the black. Drybrush it or just layer it. What do you think?
