The only model that i can think of that has barnacles on it is the Dankhold troggoth, so new crustacean squigs are what i am thinking of right now . Also i don't think that it is for 40k or Slaanesh, because the claw still looks very much like a lobster/crab claw that is bigger and meaner, not alien or slanneshi in general.
There'l be a 40K risk game for this interested. Apparently with faction abilities to differentiate it from regular risk.
With summer just a two months away, how soon does everyone think till we hear about the GHB 2020? How much do you think this year's release will be affected by the pandemic, if at all? I suppose it may be a bit early seeing as last year's edition was released on 06/22. Guessing we'll start hearing something towards end of May/beginning of June if the announcement for it is still on track.
Maybe they will adjust AoS to the pace kept by 40k chapter approved. The 2020 release will be on november- december.
Given that they also continue to release white dwarfs I wouldn't be surprised if the various books and such continue as normal. With the exception of battletomes or other stuff linked to new models.
Yes, I hople we will see the GHB, but I doubt that we'll see a lot of adjustments to our battletome, because there's not much tournament data. Flamers and some Ossiarch units, as well as Fyreslayers should be hit, however.
Oh, GW getting our hopes up... this is going to be another 40k tank or space marine commander no doubt
Hmm. Extremely interesting. I suspect a Shadespire Warband. I can’t see them releasing new Seraphon miniatures so soon after codex drop. My thinking: Skink priest, so they can phase out the other one. The warband could be a priest, some skinks and a kroxigor or salamander/razordon - that’s my guess!
I kinda hope warcry, those make for proper units in the main game which has potential uses. Underworlds just makes for a wonky, unique, hero which usually isn't really worth it. Plus, I kinda wanne try warcry, and this is a good excuse to get a starterset
New season of underworlds will start in Autumn, if not delayed. So, I guess, this is indeed could be our warband. Underworlds warbands has their own set of rules. They never phase out old models.
Feathers and a staff with a crystal and serpent motif? (The "feathers" might be a bony crest of some sort actually...hmm...) Yeah, this oozes Seraphon to me. Sweeeeet!! I'm leaning more towards UW warband as they end up getting more unique sculpts for established, non-S2D factions than WC does at the moment. Does look like some form of skink priest... really hope we see the rest of the band soon!!
