Thanks guys!! Construction-wise I am calling here done Quite Happy with the end result. Though I think the shingles are a bit on the big side. For the next building I will try to make them smaller. Let me know what you think I liked the building process a lot(I am an engineer after all ) so I think I'll be starting one or two buildings before I have the time to paint this one Grrr, Imrahil
Because the First building is done I started a new one, today is planning the layout of the walls: It turns out a bit bigger than I initially thought but nontheless Ealfish Grrr, Imrahil
Make it a cathedral, you've already got pointy window bits and would explain the size of the building.
I think I'll stay with the original design, for now In the meantime I am thinking about next steps. For instance, the windows: Let me know what you think. If you know how to make great(visibly and in size) windows please let me know. Grrr, Imrahil
Cool stuff! Can't wait to see that harbor! By the way, I was recently looking for input regarding water effects (I'm planning a Liopleurodon diorama) and Clear Fix mixed with Isopropanol seems to be a good and relatively cheap way for clear water effects. Here's a tutorial on youtube that looks promising, just start at 2.35 to skip the intro-talk ).
It has been a while, due to a lack of curage to put a knive in the walls I already made. But today I brought myself to it and started the to work on one of the facades of the building. I think this will be how it will turn out: It isn't set in concrete yet so I might change or tweek it a little This will be repeated at all of the facades. Grrr, Imrahil
