Today playing a game with FoS, we had a question with Command ability, in the previous faq it said that it was at the end of the enemy loading phase, but now it says after a unit charges, it has to be the 1st unit that charge you or you can choose between the units that charge you the most that interests you (playing it clear not to shoot and then do not charge you with anything else), in this case we use the 2nd option which is the one that I understand the most
Hmmm? Making me cheaper? Interesting move if this statement has any merit i guess ill get a 4th lad to add to the lunacy
This hasnt really changed anything to be fair. If your thought before was "hmm this is pretty cool, but my list would be much better if I replaced X with more Salamanders.." it is still the same after the 30 pts increase. Salamanders are just that good, even at 110. Even if Razordons were reduced to 50 pts. I wouldnt take them over Salamanders.
It is hard to believe at this point, that razordons were ones of our best units in previous battletome. They've got better and we still don't look at them. Maybe, I will use razrodons now to fill thunderquake in my dual battalion list. But without AQB I have much worse problems. To be fair, recent changes only really hurt my fun lists. Competitive build I wanted to use only got +180 pts. I may drop some unnecessary heroes and endless spells and I am fine again.
Honestly that's what happens with point increases, they don't really harm your actual lists other than dropping one or 2 small things to correct it. When I played skaven and they kept doing point increases to plague monks I didn't care at all, it didn't hurt me until they actually changed the warscroll.
uh we 100% on that? that's the old points cost... usually Forgeworld doesn't update as often as GW and then its independent of the FAQ.
Thought this was a good listen - Ben Johnson talks to Wayde about the GHB20. I have been super disappointed in it personally, but it was nice to hear their thought process behind the different changes etc.
Absolutely, but I think its important to be honest with ourselves so no one is encouraged to go out and spend hundreds of dollars on something that will most likely be changed.
