The new Rumour Engine from today. Something about the rock/stone/pilar this crow sits on seems Dwarfish to mee, but probebly not. Any crows with Keys in fluff of one of the armies? Grrr, Imrahil
Both Nighthaunt and the Ossiarchs have quite a few crows as decorations on their models, so something that is related to death i assume. Mayeb finally a vampire faction?
Theres been a bunch of vampire rumour engines so i guess that fits. Only downside is that they probably follow nagash again, cuz gw seems to refuse to write in some opposition for nagash as the door ruler of undead...
All of the undead follow nagash, for he is all that is undead. All undead creatures, with some exceptions, are under the direct influence of Nagash and must do his commands, even if they don't want to. In one of the books, maybe it is undying king i can't quite remember, one of the main characters talk about rumors of a blood knight vampire who is almost as old as Nagash and have found a way to resist his influence, and that the smallest mention of that vampire is enough to make Nagash banish your soul to eternal torment.
Yup, which is why I really don't like the current setup. It also makes it very weird that Nagash hasnt crushed the other Grand allegiances yet, hé controls the only faction that doesn't suffer to infighting. Well i hope that vampire gets some love and is presented on the big stage soon then. I'm kiñda tired of nagash ruling all unopposed.
I read up on the necroquake last night and the only answer I have for you is that the Skaven screwed with Nagash's ritual, weakening it. It's unclear how Skaven interferece impacted Nagashs ritual though. Also, there is a small mention how the Slann had to focus their enenegies ro prevent the necroquake from destroying shyish entirely? So maybe Nagash raising a bunch of nighthaunt wasn't super effective against the massive hordes of Chaos after suffering the setback.
One of the reasons why I dont own any death armies but on the other hand it is what makes death unique.
I'm 99% sure it is supposed to be Abhorash, the first of the blood knights. Vlad had a good end during the end times, and i don't think he really needs to be brought back, and it also fits well with Abhorash since his end was ambigious during the end times when he fought to protect Bretonnia from the Skaven.
its great to feel vindicated by my own common sense about those two corrections, but at the same time its saddens me to be vindicated in the stance that GW rushed our update/ didn't give a crap about it. those were mistakes that would never have been made if they had cared enough to pay even a modest amount of attention to what they were doing to us.
Im really curious about this response. Unless Im misunderstanding the answer, does this mean that units summoned wont have their battlefield role allocated to them? So essentially you cant summon a Skink hero in to capture objectives in the battleplan "Places of Arcane Power" or Skinks to capture objectives in the battleplan "The Better Part of Valor"?
