Scientists have confirmed that cats cannot spread Covid-19 to humans....but they want to. (disclaimer, it's a joke. Cats might actually be carriers. I've read some articles suggesting cats and dogs can be carriers but the evidence seems circumstantial. There are a lot of diseases that cats and dogs can give us that are not the CCP virus. Don't let a cat paw your food. Cats feet walk in their litter boxes and cat poop can infect humans.)
I love these kind of unexpected friendships. A recent one I saw was a kitten that was adopted by three huskies and totally thought she was a dog. Going for walks, swimming, the whole 9 yards. But my favourite by a mile is a baby squirrel that was found abandoned and brought to a rescue home. By chance a cat there had just had kittens and it assumed this was just one that had been missed out. The squirrel ended up learning how to purr.
