yes, she saved ink by dropping the g and h from "light." If you don't recognize this guy, you probably didn't have as cool cartoons growing up as I did. I was just thinking how memeable this show would be if it came out in 2004 or 2014 as opposed to 1994. Oberon's voice acting (like all the other characters voice acting was awesome.) When Oberon said: "Oberon does not compromise...OBERON COMMMAAAANDS!" I'm sure Settra was nodding in approval.
Gargoyles. If you subscribe to Disney+ to watch Mandalorian, you should also watch season 1 and 2 of Gargoyles. Apart from the first episode, season 3 was a dumpster fire. Disney got in a fight with the original creator, Greg Weisman, and he walked before finishing Season 3, episode 2. Then he made a comic books series showing what he wanted season 3 to be and it was magnificent. EDIT: Season 1 was 13 episodes like most cartoon shows. Season 2 had roughly triple this, so there is a lot of episodes. Out of the 40 or so episodes, they weren't all masterpieces. I thought 3 or 4 were a little subpar. A few years ago, Greg Weisman and Bruce Timm (creator of Batman the Animated Series) got together to make Young Justice. So basically my two favorite 90s shows had a baby and it was Young Justice. Bruce Timm's pacing and visual attention to detail and Greg Weisman's plot twists and nuanced villains.
@Scalenex I remember Gargoyles. I watched it way back then and still love it! The whole Macbeth and Demona story arc was really quite well done. Goliath was always my favourite. He was extremely well voiced. Settra would view him as a rival and crush him! Or at least try to.
