Bring back Nakai you cowards. Actually I told my buddy that if I had the money/equipment/skills needed for such a project I'd love to make a giant Kroxigor model to use as a Mega-Gargant Mercenary (the Kraken is the correct one I believe?) and call it an Avatar of Nakai.
That would be really awesome! Perhaps there is a nice larger-sized 3D print model out there that would work well in that respect?
We did, GW showed a Warriors of Chaos warband yesterday. I imagine they alongside the Lumineth, Slaanesh and Seraphon will be the four Warbands available when Direchasm launches.
Thee have summoned me. I don't have anything that good. that being said if someone has a SCL file they want printed I can totally do it for them. It would be a print on demand order. They would send me an email or a personal message.
Are people really that nitpicky? People here play with Creature Caster models no problem. As long as it is very easy to recognize what kind of model it is, nobody really gives a crap. It is required to send in pics prior to get a confirmation though.
if you are playing in a Games work shop store or in a official tournament you have to use GW models. no exceptions. there are tournaments that do let you use proxy models but not all and i need to be able to use my army where ever i go. that and my main gaming venue is a GW store. it's the main reason why i hate our finecast line
So essentially you have penned yourself into a corner by cutting out much better models because they are 3D printed. which is fine, but its also the situation as it presents itself.
Ahh that makes sense then. We dont have any official GW tournaments around here and the GW store is kinda terrible. Everything is run in FLGS/AoS clubs/private stuff here.
i am not a hobbiest i honestly hate that part. i am not a painter i am only a sculpture by dumb luck. i am a player i love warhammer for the lore and the Game. if i want to play the game i need to follow the rules whether or not they make sense. if i where to stop going to GW stores or TOs then i would get maybe 1/5th the games i do now. so i grit my teeth and work with what i have
the same kind of tournaments where people were able to play models with no base at all (goddrakk), and their unpainted army took the same points of my wholly painted one because "we know these guys, they have many other painted armies"? I hope your official GW shops are held by people that are not complete ***holes. As far as I'm concerned, I have stopped to make 100 miles for this kind of "official events".
oh Kevin is awesome he was a great help when i was getting started and regularly buys kits for new players to get them started. love the guy and he is the biggest reason i don't do online shopping for GW stuff
dumb question that i should know the answer to. does wholly within mean all of the basses are touched by a aura or all of the base is inside the aura? like could you get half a carnosaur inside a buff bubble?
