Hello! One of my friends had Nagash now,. Nighthaut player. Need some tips to deal with him! Thanks a lot
nagash is a big model and if taken severely limits the opponents body count .he is most dangerous in OBR but if not then screen well so he doesn't just snipe your heroes and kill the rest of his army you should be fine.
Focus the objective game. I think hes 800 points, so that's 2/5th the army in one model that doesn't have a monstrous rule for counting as multiple units on an OBJ.
I'm curious to see the advice. A friend of mine has Nagash in a LoN army. He has fielded him with Mannfred (or VLoZD) and some combo of 40 skeletons, wolves, knights and spirit hosts. Nagash uses his table-wide command ability and usually spells us to death.
20 Chameleons, or 3 salamanders and a starpriest should do the job. even a horde of blowpipe skink with the starpriest should make him a bit more dead.
its one of those pieces that you totally ignore unless you can kill them in 2 turns. Like ilkain said, focus objectives. Split your units up and take every point all of the time and take out the weaker bodies on the board
i play this list and i won! very lucky FoS 2k point Lord kroak Saurus Astrolith Bearer Saurus Sun Blood Skink Priest Skink Starpriest Skink Oracle on Troglodon Saurus guard x5 Skinks x40 skinks x10 Chamaleon x15 Samalander hunting pack x12 basically in my second turn i do the yolo attack: teleport sunblood with the fos artefact, he scored two wounds and then i roll 5 on the serpent god dagger. bye nagash. i prob will do the rematch tomorrow or next week. ps: in 1 year this is the second time ever that serpent god dagger works, once on belakor, now on nagash. i will try on the stardrake now xD
id say all our saurus foot heroes are lacking the love...but for decent reason imo… Grats on your win and that insta kill!
