Hahaha... true. But at least it has provided us with many new memes! As they say, laughter is the best medicine.
Apples to oranges. Overlord DVD is talking about commercially unviable story ideas. The thing I brought up was using anti-racism as a justification for saying such unspeakably awful racist thing that it wouldn't have flown in the 1950s.
This also applies to Tom Brady's wife complaining about him not being around the house enough and saying he should go to fewer practices. Tom Brady is too busy winning Super bowls, getting endorsements, making millions of dollars, and demonstrating himself as a leader. Apples to oranges. Marvel Phase four is a bad idea but it's not virulently offensive as an SJW accusing a solid interfacial couple as being akin to something twisted and rapacious. Its the difference between something I am uninterested in watching and something that boils my blood with anger.
I'd say different symptoms, but both caused by the same disease. True, one symptom may be worse than the other, but the underlying problem is one and the same.
This reminds me of a little story. I haven't told many people about this. Once up a time working for an antipodean State Water Board, I was on a team sent out into the suburbs to trace some issues with the storm water drainage in that area. Nearby was a creek that we thought fed into the drains. To trace the water we had a little (medicine bottle size) stuff called fluorescein dye. It is soluble in water and extremely potent as a few drops will turn a large amount of water bright green (as in this picture). The bottle had an eye dropper that you could dispense a couple of drops into the body of water to be tested. In this case to see if the creek fed into the storm water drains. Unfortunately when attempting to unscrew the fluorescein dye I dropped the bottle in the creek. Ooops ! All the dye leaked out into the creek. Instant bright green creek. I was amazed at how quick it happened. We did ascertain that the creek fed into the storm water drain. Job done. We went home. No worries. Only to see on all the nightly news programs that everyone was confounded as to why Sydney Harbour had turned a bright emerald green, and Government bodies would be investigating.......
Sometime i work with fluorescin dye for this kind of tests (mine is in powder form), but it never happened to me such an accident. FUnny story, indeed.
