AoS Looking to make the best list from my collection

    Hi all,

    So I've been thinking about 3rd edition and the changes going forward. I have a bit of a lopsided collection but was wondering would I could do with the following:

    Lord Kroak
    Oracle on Troglodon
    Oldblood on Carnosaur
    Skink Starpriest
    Skink Priest
    Oldblood on foot
    Engine of The Gods
    Stegadon with Skystreak Bow
    2 Bastiladon
    40 Skinks with blowpipes and clubs
    10 Saurus Guard
    Astrolith Bearer

    I was thinking something along the lines of:

    The theory is to lean into the magical prowess of Kroak, by using the Oracle as a forward staging post, thereby allowing him to get Celestial Deliverance off more often. The Godbeast pendant is also there for when the Oracle inevitably dies, to at least give a chance for him to come back for more Celestial goodness.

    The rest is pretty standard far I think. A number of big beasts to provide lasers, bows and lottery tickets. Saurus Guard are ablative wounds for Kroak and the Skinks are there to run around and try to make a late push for objectives, or screen the Oracle.

    Any thoughts or tips? I'm aware it's leaning into the Kroak/Oracle a lot and I'd love to get an Astrolith Bearer in there, but I'm not sure what to remove.

    I think it would all work a lot better as thunder lizard as the bastiladon alone becomes essentially twice as good and kroak can still cause a lot of havoc

    Seem's about right, TL is really good now. Also I always feel you want Salamander's with Starborne, they're still strong! Porting them in and obliterating something is such a powermove.

    So head's up, I'm a new player and haven't considered Starborne much till now. If you want to play a Starborne List I would invest in some Salamanders and then you could run something like this:
