Depends a bit how expensive this one is. It doesn't really work if this one costs well over a 100,- just to make a squad with these.
They need to ditch that outdated 'Eavy Metal paintstyle already. It makes these 3d modeled miniatures look god awful.
Ha ha. True. It means some of us build our armies verrrry sllloooowwwly. And we just dream of buying 6 Blood Bowl Kroxigor all at once.
mmm... all the warscrolls in wahapedia give me 404. It's the same for all of you? technical problem or GW's lawyers are dealing with it?
Just checked and it doesn't work for me normally, but it works if you check the warscrolls collated tab. (Should I screenshot them just in case?)
Darn, that's stupid. I really hope it's just a site error and not good ol' GW making sure their warscrolls stay behind a paywall...
Exactly. The 3.0 warscrolls you don't get unless you buy the battletome. With GW pulling the warscrolls from their main website, it's pretty clear that they want everyone to be paying either a subscription on the app or buying into Warhammer+ to even be able to read what abilities a unit has. While I'm certainly not against a company wanting to make money off their product, this to me seems pretty extreme. You have to buy the models to be able to play with them, but the physical warscroll cards that come with the models are usually outdated within six months or less of their initial release due to the constant errata. You need to know what your unit can do in order to know how to play. You also need to know what a unit's stats are before buying it, and of course knowing opposing armies' stats is extremely important as well. The idea that you have to either buy every single battletome or pay a fee every month just to have access to basic rules of the game is pretty ridiculous.
must be said that if it is GW, they should have nuked the entire site. You must pay to have 40k core rules and faction rules, after all. EDIT: everything in 40k is now available, AoS warscrolls are still a nope
does that app have a desktop/browser version yet? Fiddling on a phone to read and search through large amounts of small documents is a pain...
It’s also worth noting the app doesn’t feature any content from white dwarf updates even if you own them, making any army that gets one with any major substance (like StD and their rules/keyword changes) basically unusable in the list building section
