Ha! I have the same exact mat! And I believe the same table!!! 6' by 4' right? Aluminium detachable legs for the inner ones?
Because normally i don't. A friend of mine owns both the armies, he also play napoleonic and Bolt Action He was always a random precence and since he has become father, we see him very rarely. but when he can, he lend one of his armies to have a game. This round, i was the rebel... errr... the southern patriot.
than you! all the Necrons terrains are mine, BTW. anyway, our middle board was heavily contested... but in the end, Nightbringer ruled the day! (pun intended) the funny thing was that the theme of this apocalypse was "unstable allegiances" Necrons and DE were planning to betray their temporary "ally", and the same were planning Death Guards and Iron Warriors. So, each one of us got a "secret secondary objective", to gain betrayal ponts by directly damaging the ally, that could be obtained from T4. Because winning was important, but you don't want your ally to win. The tricky part was, obviously, to try to win over your ally BUT without damaging the real goal. So possibly wait til the very last moment. The Chaos side was winning the battle, they were ahead of points (and i mean, around +14)... but DG was far behind the Iron Warriors, so the player decided to screw the ally, attacking him in T4. Necrons and DE won the game by 2 points.
Another victory for the Xenos! And wow, I thought I was the only person on Earth who still used the 3rd Edition Dark Eldar models. Clearly someone else is quite happy to use their existing collection and avoid jumping on the new-model bandwagon too...
