As per the new 3.0 and the faq, since the EotG has a priest does it get prayers? Maybe im missing something but want to make sure

Unfortunately no. It does not have the priest keyword, which is what is needed to get prayers.

Just to add on to what @xoid said, this faq is actually not new and is copy and pasted from our 2.0 faq. It was included because without it, the EotG had weird interactions with artefacts and command traits because it didn't specify that it had a "rider" or a "mount." This faq was merely to address those odd interactions and make the EotG behave like any other ridden monster in that regard.

Updating for anyone that reads this now thanks to a recent uodate. The EOTG now officially has a priest on board so you can act as though the EOTG is also a priest

Now that is also a priest, means we also get access to the command Herald of the Old Ones?
