I see your Colosseum, and raise you some Egyptian Pyramids! Those things were already 2000 years old when the Colosseum was being freshly built.
We can also count on the Great Wall... But i mentioned the colosseum because its damage was man made, when at a certain point it was partially dismantled to recover the shaped stones. Otherwise it would stand almost brand new!
It's a cool structure. The Mrs. and I enjoyed our short time in Rome. It was sad to see the damage that was done to the Colosseum in a short-sighted effort to extract resources from it.
...okay, first off, you're making an assumption. There are something like a hundred+ bridges in the world that look like that. Second off, just because those LOOK like sagging doesn't mean they are cables coming off of those towers. Many bridges of similar make had steel tubing sections with cables running through the center of them. ... although that said, it does kind of look right for the Golden Gate, just... the towers are too close together.
You are right on that True, but for the sake of argument I stated them as cables, because the tubes are not adding to the structural stability they only serve as protection of said cables Grrr, Imrahil
When faced with a god-like force of evil, your best, perhaps only chance of survival is to distract it with an existential quandary.
@NIGHTBRINGER you didn't tell me that your Horizon game was dutch designed... now I am a little impressed Grrr, Imrahil
Because I didn't know. I knew it was made by Guerrilla Games studio, but I never when as far as to look up where the studio was founded out of. So will you give the game a chance and give it a play through?
Not really a change there. I am not a gamer anymore, I hardly can find the time to hobby so gaming is even harder to find time for But at least I will be less negative about it. Grrr, Imrahil
