Hi Guys, It’s early March just join a new army escalation league, hopefully that will bring me back into the hobby!! it’s a 500 points to get done by end in month and then extra 250 points every 2 weeks!! wish me luck!! i know right !! Sometimes less is more I look at some peeps colour pallet and when with this, I’m not a fan of guys going with too much green I like the grey shoulder pads with a lips of purple. Just enough colour for my taste …. Also try to get as close as the original toys story buzz and the new preview for light year!!
Geez guys I need to do a better job with updates!!! Let’s start with the next few purchase I did!! Next up slowly working at painting them first 11 painted headless except the one since it was attach to his arm!! What was left to do Thursday night 6 guys plus 16 heads!! a big push Friday since these needed to be completed by Saturday night and knew I wouldn’t have time to work on them or not much Saturday since were celebrating my daughter turning 6!! Now to today!! Finish up by putting in a few tuff !! pretty sweet challenge!! I was away from home for a good 9 days (should of been only 8, snow storm) that extra day would of been nice!! Hehehe but while I was gone I build I few models!! Pictures to come!! now on to my first game!! Plan for next Saturday!! My opponent chaos daemons!! Wish me luck!! will the space ranger getting ambush by some chaos daemon manage to survive?! Will they be victorious?! ….
Well the first games didn’t go as well as I would hope for!!! I don’t what I did to the dice god but he was not happy with me!!! I had major dice roll that was complete garbage some attack with 0 damage and my lieutenant died to nothing very bad rolls so goes the game I guess!!! In the end he had 3 models left on the table with only 4 wound total so not a complete disaster on my part. i learn a lot which is the point of the game, learn that I have to read my bible a little more and that space marine have a lot of rule to remember!!!! i did a few critical move ( or lack of) that end me with 0 points in the end. I got charge fast and couldn’t shoot anymore I should of just let it go for a turn and hope to bounce back with shooting after!!! by it overall had fun so yeah fun times!! In to the following week works!! Build a bunch of model made some mistake!!! mistake #1 glue the magnets the wrong way it was all good and then realized that the gun should be pointing the other direction!!! Live and learn I guess!! bunch of build and prime models!!!! got a new tool it’s a must man does it make a easi job at cutting plastic!!! Glad I got this bad boy now!! Next build the ATV!!!! Alright guys I need HELP!!! So I was looking at this YouTube video the other day and loved what the guy did to his ATV!! So I ask him how he did and he was kind enough to pass along the info!! Yay!! now I took it even further then he did, heres the front view!! The left side!! Now the issue I have now is idk what to do with the right side I love them both do I put the rock or no rock? with rock no rock Now the front is all glued up just need to glue the back
I think just the rock on the front left looks good, but it is an ATV, so maybe the bumpier the ride the better. Tough call.
