Which core battalions / white dwarf ones did you use? I put in Command entourage and Battle regiment but that's just how I made it fit. Sorry for the 20 questions just trying to get me head around this edition.
Don't recall the names, sorry. Usually i always pick one of the battalions that give an additional enhancement. Then i go for single drop or the one that gives to troops immunity to monster actions.

I also like dread in the linebreaker battalion for the elite once per game ability.
I find linebreaker to be a must if you run dread basically the best way to get the most out of em outside of sitting em on an obj and just keeping its hp topped off

How about removing the EotG? yeah, possible additional healing and so on but... you could field 30 additional skinks for massive battlefield control (the opponent won't have resources to counter that, being busy with your 2 big threats), and you would save 50 pts for another situational endless spell... or 20 additional skinks and 5 guards to protect the Slann.
How about this? I can swap the priest for 20 more skinks. Or swap the burning head for cogs to give another +1 to charge. Or swap the priest and burning head for x 5 Saurus Guard. I can also swap the priest prayer from curse to heal, heal would definitely be a safer bet for defensive and keeping Gotrek/ D'S alive, especially since it goes off on the 2+ in our territory near our terain. I just looked at the potential curse brings for skinks, never mind Gotrek or the DS. If I don't have the priest then the siunks are just a meat bump to score an objectives based on the number of models in the unit. Not a bad use of them either! Allegiance: Seraphon - Constellation: maybe now its Koatls Claw? I dont think the DS counts as a Saurus unit so cant gai the +1 to charge. Also, without the EOTG I can't see a use for TL except +2 wounds for the DS and I want the -1 damage bonus from Coalesced so the Starborne wouldn't be an option. I have a tournament in July, my first with Lizard and I Would love that my Dread Saurian shine. Do you have any feedback and advice to share for the actual meta ? Thank ! Thunder lizard must take fusil of Conflaguration otherwise your list in itself seems fairly well put together. I think you'll do well
Yes of course I forget it but it is on the banner. I saw the tornament opponent army! There is 6 lumineth, few stormcast ans only 2 demons army on 32 compétitors. I think i will switch the bastilladon by 2 salamanders, what do you think about it ?
Sally's will be better for you vs lrl and sce but the basti will be a godsend vs those daemons especially with the doubletap I'd still go with the cloak to get that engine moving though
Just be aware that, unless the tournament's rules dictate differently, you will risk to give away victory points being them priority targets
Yes this is why I am asking if they are worth it or no. They are the only hammer of the army Btw bastilladon offer Also 2 vp (because priority target + monster in Ghur) and do nothing against LrL or high save
I mean our heroes in general are the real damage hammers and the sheer damage spiking capabilites the carno itself has for the price is always something to take a look at. The thing about Sally's is that they are reliable in terms of the damage they do and they do lovely in terms of mortals.
That's not true. But they are our source or rend -2... this, coupled with reliable damage and MWs, make them a solid choice. But i tend to run them only in Starborne. When i play coalesced i don't feel the need for them.
I dont understand how you have succes with skink chief except against weak battleline. Yes he has a lot of attack but rend -1 I play against LrL, etherquartz and nothing happen even with roar Against Tzeench nothing happen with destiny dice Based on my expérience and the meta of my local shop I have a very different feeling about skink chief.
Well you see regardless of how people continue to believe that doing math so systematically and down to the smallest detail they forget one thing. Dice are random as shit and spikes happen all the time
