Those are done other than basing. I hit 60 model equivalents and we're only half a month into the year. You can tell I have a commission.
No pictures yet, but I have 4 more Foederati infantry done barring details on the shields. They will be completed and imaged before I go to sleep unless something interrupts that.
I just noticed I have to pick out the pin in the center dudes tunic in the shieldwall regiment. I'll do that too.
4 Infantry for the guild myrmidian (back row) 4 Foederati medium infantry for the late Roman legion project. Both to be based later today.
Those models have been added to the multibased and the first ranks have had basing materials added. I also did another step on 5 more kruleboyz, along with a few stages on 2 archers. More soon, but I need a break
An extremely quick paint job on these two archers as they are rank filler. Left guy goes to the late Roman project. Right dude with the red-bottoms is a ranker for the guild myrmidian Archer unit.
Up next: More orcs for my commission client. More stormcast because I have an upcoming slow -grow league.
5 more kruleboyz for my commission client. 5 penal legion because I felt like painting orange last night. 2 stormcast characters. 1 Knight Vexilor and 1 knight-Arcanum/double duty as an evocator champion.
Using some of the wargames Atlantic horses as priming stands for cavalry (plus an extra WoTR perry horse because it was nearby.) These are some of the cataphracts from the gripping beast set I received for Christmas. I may start these tonight, but I'm not sure. I have cleaning to do.
3 more for the guild before heading to the fair. Got these partially done last night and finished* them about 15 minutes ago.
And I've created 100 miniature equivalency (my points system kept updated in the first post. Cav worth 2, etc) so far this year. 5 more kruleboyz for my commission client. I'm going to rev up the commission painting in the next few days before I have to cycle in some stormcast to be ready for my upcoming slow grow league. I painted one of the fouche prints as a leader figure for an upcoming unit of fusiliers for The Guild Myrmidian. I also painted Xenophon 3 different ways. The first was in a traditional Greek paint job. I made the accent color red so I could use him in the guild if I wanted to, down the road. The second was a metallic gunmetal washed with nazdreg contrast, and then a few different blues for the eyes. I've thought about an army of living statues for awhile, and I may take that on. Either that or I'll figure out another place to put him. The third was a mixture of Vallejo gold tones washed with skeleton horde after the fact. This guy is going on top of a Grecian pillar of some sort, which will be in the center of a large base. The rest of the base will be tributes to my upcoming opponent armies during a slow-grow age of sigmar league. I traditionally make a piece of terrain for each slow-grow league I play in. I decided this fit the spirit, while also letting me have an item for the shelf to spark memories of good gaming.
