Lol, please cleanse me of my heresy! (by sending me a 8th edition Lizardmen Army book ) Grrr, !mrahil
Some good costumes and props. LARP is always a bit strange in my eyes, but this looks to be pretty well done.
I'm pretty much the opposite, in that I'm missing only the 6th Edition one, principally because I entered the hobby after 6th had ended (though given that there is no 6th Edition community in my area and that 6th had less developed lore and army lists than subsequent editions, I doubt if I'll ever be persuaded to get one).
That's a point, I'm also missing that one, I just thought we were discussing the newhammer volumes (i.e. 6th onwards). For the record, I have one of those oldhammer books (the Dwarf one from 4th Edition, I was given it by a relative not long after I started), two books that count as 6th (Beasts of Chaos and the 2nd Dwarf one which was mainly used in 7th), the 7th books for Lizardmen, Greenskins, High Elves, Beastmen and Skaven, and the 8th books for Dwarfs, Greenskins, High Elves, Lizardmen and Tomb Kings. There are certainly others I've considered grabbing - The Bretonnian and Tomb King 6th Edition ones - but I'm trying to restrain myself in getting only those I'll really need (as cool as Bretonnians and Tomb Kings are, two more new armies would not help my declining house space ), especially now that TOW looks so promising.
How can we talk about WHFB and not mention Mordheim? Last week, in Milano it was held the italian Mordheim main tournament, and a whole sector of the tournament was set in Lustria. The most notable thing (for me) is that WE (as gaming club) were given the honor (a glorious burden, if you will) to organize that part pf the tournament. Here's the Campaign Journal and here we'll have some gaming table, Lustria themed, from the most humble to the most glorious: Spoiler: TABLE 1 Spoiler: TABLE 2 Spoiler: TABLE 3
You mean no mention Mordheim in a thread titled "Only the 8th..."? Only Warhammer Proper here. The best of the best. Undefeated and undisputed!
