It's a great mini and well painted, but I tend to agree. I know it's possibly too "repetitive" but I just see TK as being all skeletal, except for the mummy leaders and constructs.
I love the OSL! That's become my new thing (by which I mean enjoying other people's OSL work because it is WAY beyond my skill level). If there is one painting technique I wish I had in my repertoire, it would be OSL.
Now you're talking... especially if the giant Carrion is painted as a statue. Somebody needs to do the same with that Khemric Titan model on Etsy that looks just the right size.
It's beautiful and it will be mine. Financially I can't buy it this month as I just bought Asarnil the Dragonlord and some Slayers. Wife would be annoyed if I bought another model and didn't paint the stuff that's showing up this week. My mistake was dancing with joy when I found Asarnil for a decent price.
Models just showed up and all were in great condition. Only issue was Asarnil was missing his sword. Not a huge issue with how much I paid for it. Now I'll just keep my eyes open for one. 10 more slayers to the pile that will one day be my slayer army. A lot of pinning is in my future.
Here I am touching up my Tomb Kings and you show me a higher level paint job...sigh. Looks great, what colors are used on the bases?
You'll have to ask the chap who painted them, the post is here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/warhammeroldworld/permalink/1508625750024341/
