TOW First Lizardmen list 2000 points

    Hey all!

    Just wanted to see how my Old World Lizardmen list seemed, it’s my first time with these guys. I’ve done three games with ogres so far and want to give Lizards a go.

    Probably not going to do any tournaments just games with friends. My first game is against a friend running dark elves.

    Talisman of protection on your carnosaur adds a lot. I also like BSBs on the Slann. Also I'd be making him ethereal over taking the temple guard, but thats up to you. High is fine enough, but battle is better imo. 4 krox helps because 1 is not a panic, but we are cold blooded. I prefer a big Saurus unit over 2x10.

    Although you didn't request them, here are some tournament tips that may be helpful =)

    1) Increase heroes slot to 1000
    2) Buy a ward to carno
    3) Get some items for slann and get discipline
    4) Reduce Core to 500 (you don't need that many)
    5) Ark not ok, beam is a better choice
    6) Buy 1 more krox (move skinks before krox to prevent changing in krox)
    7) Troglodons are bad

    The Special slots look great with double Solar Engines and the Kroxigors have done well for me in previous games. I like taking more units of Skink skirmishers over a big block of warriors. I run 4x10 skink units with Jav/shields for the flexibility. I haven't tried the Staff on a Slann yet I would be interested in how that works out (my usual is the Ruby ring). The Oldblood looks ready to bring the pain lol

    Almost ok
    Foot scarvet without banner - better take more Core Saurus unit. Or give him a banner and a block of temple guards. Or coldone and coldone riders.

    No. better pick - Lore Familiar and High or Elementalism, or give this point to scarvet.

    Maybe usefull for divert to protect lazerlizards
