Posted Early this morning. https://wargamesatlantic.com/blogs/news/a-note-from-the-founder-of-wargames-atlantic As lustria's inside man at WGA, I'm happy to relay questions and otherwise discuss this.
Saw this last week... certainly explains how some of the first sets WA made were direct upgrades to old WF sets Warlord continue to make. I notice there are some sceptics posting comments on the similar post in the Legion group about whether his words are true, but to be honest, to me it sounds about right... it doesn't surprise me that the poor chap got stabbed in the back by Chinese dirty business tactics... even the mighty GeeDubs got stung by a Chinese scheme to copy their paints when they made them out there, hence the last big revamp in 2012, so he's certainly not alone in that regard. I've noticed he can be a bit snotty at times when responding to posters on the Facebook group (he once was quite aggressive to me when I was perhaps a bit more critical about the Sneakfeet than he seemed to like, and he was out and out volatile toward someone who tried to bring Trumpian politics to the Legion, telling him openly to 'F off', which isn't exactly civil as a spokesman and CEO of a company), but now knowing all the gyp he's had to go through with other people letting him down, I can see how all that has brought out a hard side to him that he's not afraid to show to anyone that rubs him the wrong way. And the fact that he aims to try and compensate those who got involved and lost money through the failed Defiance Games kickstarter shows he aims to make amends for his past failures, which everyone can respect.
