It looks like a pretty neat game. And a little more accessible from a model and painting standpoint.

A pretty small footprint on Lustria Online though.

The best thing about blood bowl is that i don’t feel the urge to spent money on it :p

I guess that is a good way of looking at the positive aspect of it. Save money for other games.

Is the game too goofy for you? Or is it that American football just isn't that prevalent in Italy?

Well, american football is not popular here (of course), but there are people that play blood bowl nonetheless, even in our gaming group.
It's not for my tastes, i like my warhammer a bit more serious

But... that disqualifies 90% of anything Skaven! And 99% of anything Thanquol!

    Also 100% of the Vampirates.

    :p

Which brings up an interesting question: which Games Workshop Warhammer game is the most serious?

The Warhammer Quest boardgames, most likely.

Well, no. Skaven are deadly seriuos, in their own silly way. And the setting remains serious.
40k orks may have humorus elements, but 40k is no less grimdark. Even excessive grimdark is humorous in its own way.
You can, should and must laugh at 40k and fantasy lore.
But blood bowl is just fun, there's no lore i feel attached to.

    I'd say most boardgames.
Space Hulk, for example, got nothing ironic about it.

With Trokey Cokey and Eddie on their way to the next Preview, we've got some idea of what might feature in the preview:

The Nurgle box I have a feeling might be Maggotkin of Nurgle for AoS - they haven't got a Battletome yet, Death Guard already have their corresponding Codex for 40K and none of the other games have a bespoke Nurgle army (unless it's some sort of Nurgle-themed gang for Necromunda). It could also simply be that the new Warhammer Quest game has Nurgle as its main enemy, but I doubt it given that that is already known.

I've just noticed the Ultramarines box... surely they're not going to make a full-on Ultramarines Codex when the standard Marine Codex already places Ultramarines front and centre? Wouldn't be surprised if they did something that daft though... this is GeeDubs we're talking about here. Especially if Ultra-fan Matt Ward is still back in the team somewhere.

I have a feeling that the Old World release might be Cathay Wave 2 - as there's firework rockets present, and fireworks are a Chinese invention.

As for what the other games are getting...

GeeDubs do so enjoy giving the blue-boys some less-than-blue gonads with the amount of attention they give them.

I wouldn't complain about such, though I would hope they'd at least be teasing something that we don't already know is coming - like Kislev or a proper Southern Realms... or a "legally distinctly not-AoS" version of a legacy race. Didn't they say at some point that while Vampire Counts weren't on the table, a faction based specifically on what was previously a sub-faction (the Red Duke) would get a presence at some point?
