New to warhammer and need help to pick paint color

so i have 30 skinks together and i was wonder what are the legal colors for lizardmen or does it matter

so lizardmen dont have to fit in a ceriant color scheme for tournament legal?

 

I was very dissapointed to find that there are indeed only twenty shades of gray

Nope, you can choose whatever you like, MINIMUM standard is three colours with no primer showing unless it is part of the scheme

Don't worry. Your humor was not lost on me.

Your army is, well... Yours. Heck half the reason I'm painting mine is cause I'm pretty sure I've accidentally traded some saurus warriors with another lizardmen player in town. That and cause they look sweeeeet.

 

Wut the heck? "Fuzzy Wuzzy" is an actual colour? That, and "flattery"... Makes GW naming of colours look cool. But yeah, you don't have to use any certain colours for your army. As far as I know, your colour scheme doesn't even have to be unified through the army to qualify entering tournaments. Of course, that'll most likely lower your paint score. Also, the Lizardmen are a great army in that they can look good and fitting in almost any colours imaginable.
