Hi guys! I am a long time lurker on these forums and I have played warhammer fantasy for many years now. Lizardmen were my first and favourite army of warhammer. I played through 7th and 8th edition with lizardmen and I was really excited for the new book (new core I thought naively). So the new book was kind of a disappointment for me. After finishing my Woc army I found the time right to start a new army but couldn't decide which one. After some time I realized I didn't give the lizardmen book a fair chance so I am here to give a fresh start to the lizardmen. I already got a +- 3k lizardmen army with a blue color scheme but I want a new scheme/army with some room for conversions. Also I don't have the new minis (ripper/bastilidon/carnosaur...etc). I am looking forward to participate on this forum. The painting section of this forum already gave me much inspiration .
Thanks for the reply. I am at the moment on vacation so no blog soon (1 week). I was thinking of a dark green/ sotek green combination. But after painting 80 saurus (old and new ones) I want something new. Recently I found the amazing Craken Saurus orc savage conversion which I would love try it out (never used green stuff before).
All I can with green stuff is its fun, but it takes a while to learn, start with mall and easy things, make sure your tools are wet, and make sure you have a scalpel, pick and a flat edge like a mini screw driver, also a round headed tool can prove useful! I always went wrong by rushing, and I would smudge something I had already done with my fingers, thus ruining half an hours worth of work, all because I was too impatient to let the green stuff set. There are many tutorials on the web, but when you find something your passionate about, just take your time and work to a standard your happy with
