    Hello another question a would like a skink chief on a stegadon now the crew and monster are one profile with 5 wounds can the chief be hit in combat as i cannot see anything only says about shooting what save would the chief get. The monsters as the crew or not.

    the chief can be targeted as normal in close combat.

    In combat the skink can be targeted, he gains +1 to his armor save from being mounted. As for shooting you will need to randomize 1-4 monster 5-6 rider. This is all in the Howdah rules.

    For the record this is the rule for all riders of monsters in the BRB

    You do get one additional "point" of armour for riding a monster, so:

    6+ scaly skin
    Light Armour
    Shield
    Riding a monster


    Equals...

    Drumroll!!!


    3 + !!!



    :D

    Swap the shield for an enchanted shield and get a glorious 2+ armour save ^_^

    Also, the wording under the Howdah Crew special rule is particularly ambiguous and has been subject to a lot of debate. However, what's presented here is definitely the least controversial of the conclusions :)
