Hi everyone! This is my first post here at lustriaonline. I'm completely new to lizardmen but not to the game of Warhammer. I've been playing for ten years (I'm 27) and my previous armies are Vampires, Orcs and Goblins, Wood elves and Tau. I Started this army because Lizardmen have a lot of models that I really like! Especially the Troglodon, which is almost the one reason I started Lizards Not surprisingly, the Troglodon was the first Lizardmen model I bought and here he is painted now! Next in line are kroxigors, the oop salamander kit and some characters. My army will mostly include models I like and not necessarily the most competitive choices. (got two armies for that already) Hope you like him/her/it...
Your painting is very nice and shows that you're experienced! The trog is also my favorite though I'm saving it until I got a functional 1k army. Keep up the good work!
Wow, excellent painting. I really think it makes a model pop when someone takes the time to do things to the base.
Thanks for your replies and your kind words! Been painting a bit this week, a priest, a scar veteran, a salamander and some kroxigors. I also started painting a saurus block. Here are some pics of my kroxigors, will post pictures of the rest later You can see some of them lurking in the background though
Thank you Kroq, those are my favourite kroxigors as well. Here are some pictures of my skink priest! Hope you enjoy him!
Thanks Xlanax_lot! Started my saurus today. It will be a unit of 25-35 models so I'm like a third there Please excuse the quality of the picture, my phone would not cooperate!
Thanks Silverblight and n810! I've painted a lot in my days and think that its just the experience that makes me fast. I know how I want my models and I know GW's paint range like my own back yard Anyway, I took a break from the saurus painting and started my bastiladon. Here's a WIP:
Finished the bastiladon! Tried him for the first time on the battlefield this weekend, and the first thing he did was to take a cannonball to the face and die.... In the second game he barbecued some demigryphs with a lucky solar beam (11 S6 hits causing 7 unsaved wounds)
Great job! HOWEVER, whilst the bastildon is amazing, I actually preferred the WIP version! Despite the fact that the colours are nearly the same .
Really nice army you painted up Not sure I approve of using the old kroxigor models I personally prefer the newer models Still a great army regardless
