I bought a troglodon so have a spare scarvet oldblood and want to convert him to sit on a cold one. I kind of want to use the chair/throne that comes with him has anyone got any tips and/or pictures to help me fit it on the back nicely please?
You can do a nice job without the throne with just a little bit of green stuff to bulk the legs out. My own is coming along - slowly - but here's a completed one that I used for inspiration:
Kroq is the one in your picture a lizardman cold one? Gcpd quite like that the green stuff used is it relative simple im quite new to green stuff and to lizardmen and if yours is nearly done is its easy to see your work? Thanks for the replies it is appreciated
Ah fair enough i dont have any dark elf cold ones and spare lizardmen ones they do look awesome though
When I evantually get around to mine I'll upload a pic, but its quite far down a list of priorities at the moment. Its fairly easy to do: just stick a little bit of green stuff in the hip joints and use it to pry the legs wide enough apart that it'll sit on the cold one at the angle you want (using a larger amount between the legs as an additional saddle to adjust the height).
Indeed, all of my Lizardmen Cold Ones are being converted to zombies one by one. Dark Elf Cold Ones are too cool not to use and now a friend has started collecting Dark Elves so SOME of the dark elf riders can find a use somewhere as bits.
I think the Carnosaur Scarvet/Old Blood looks pretty good on the back of a Lizardman Cold One ... better than I'd have thought. Not too top heavy. Conversely has anyone found or seen any good uses for a spare Troglodon Skink Priest from the same kit? I was told he's in too much of a strange position to use him as a stand alone model.
Apologies for the delay, but here's a (Really crappy) picture of the conversion I finished today: Ugh, and I knew I'd spot a bit I missed!
He looks cool thanks mate. Have been meaning to get on but a gor rok conversion took over now thats finished can get back to this guy
