Hey all, First and foremost Vampire Counts/Undead player but have had my eye on starting up lizardmen for a while, and now that my current store is doing a tale of many gamers it's the perfect opportunity to get it up on it's claws. I did initially start Skaven from the Island of Blood box but after painting 17 slaves and 10 clanrats I realised I couldn't hack painting so many models (not after all of those zombies...), but I'd had my eye on Lizardmen long before that, and would class them as my 2nd army in the long term. So why Lizardmen? Aztecs + Dinosaurs. Do you need anything else? They have some of the cooler large scale models as well with the Carnosaur and Stegadon (which is actually closer to a Tricerotops... minor pet peave). Oh yeah, super magical toads I guess. Welcome to the forum. Aztecs and dinosaurs is a lovely combination and are what made me want to play LM. Coincidentally, Vampire Counts are my secondary army. I'm working on multi-ethnic zombies (I converted many Skinks and Sauri and have begun work on making Dwarf and Skaven zombies).
