Hi everyone! I recently started playing warhammer again (used to play dwarfs and a bit of lizardmen in the 6th). I decided to pick up my lizardmen because there is more flexability in play style compared to dwarfs and not such a commonly army as WoC or DE. Currently I have 4 saurus characters on cold ones 1 Saurus character on food (old temple guard champion model) 3 terradons (to be used as a unit or chiefs) 29 Saurus ~ 60 kinks 18 chameleon skinks (converted from normal skinks, normally used as 2 units of 9) 4 Salamanders (converted out of old DE cold ones) And I am currently working on converting a slann out of an old DE cold one and building a palaquin from scratch Cheers!
Welcome to Lustria mate. I'm sure everybody over in painting and converting would love a bunch of photos if you have the time.
Welcome to the forums! Your collection suggests you are favoring a Multiple Small Unit army (usually called MSU). Of course you can also get more models. I too would enjoy seeing your conversions. Let us know if you have any questions about painting, rules, tactics, or whatever.
Thanks guys! I always try to be in control of the movement on the battle field. So yes lot of small fast moving units and 1 block of saurus normally in the middle as an threat but move up slow and try only to get into combat the last 2 or so rounds of the battle. Definitely will post some of my conversions in the painting and converting forum when ready. And maybe put up my army list to give an idea of how I am playing (haven't played with the new rules just yet) Cheers!
