Hey everyone. Playing against Empire Ogres and Dwarfs has gotten really frustrating for me, dealing with war machines and impact hits, so I'm looking for some advice with my lists. Here is a typical list I would take for a (casual) 2000 point game:

Slann (general) - High magic; Reservoir of eldritch energy; Becalming cogitation; Harmonic convergence; Focus of mystery; channel staff.

    Tetto'Eko

Skink Priest - Level 1 of beasts; Dispel scroll

    Skink Chief - BSB

36x Saurus Warriors - Spears; Musicians and standard bearer (I'm thinking 6x6)

10x Skinks (cohort) - Poison attacks; Javelins and shields; Musician and standard bearer
    1x Kroxigor

10x Skinks (cohort) - Poison attacks; Javelins and shields; Musician and standard bearer
    1x Kroxigor

    6x Chameleons
    6x Chameleons
    6x Chameleons

    4x Ripperdactyls
    4x Ripperdactyls

...and that's it everyone! All told, I still have a few points to play with (in the tens....very low tens) but I'm not so worried about getting right at 2k before hearing any criticisms or advice you have to offer.

Hmmm, I see some spots that'll help you out.

Firstly you have too much stuff in the magic area. I suggest dropping the Skink Priest and the Skink Chief in favor of a Scar-Vet BSB Cowboy. He'll give you some serious punch, especially with a great weapon. He'll also go toe-to-toe with anything in those three armies fairly reliably. Just stay away from Great Weapons.

Secondly I would combine those Skrox units together. You can add in some more Skink bodies if you have the points.

Thirdly, where are your champions? Sure you don't NEED them, but I'd take a unit champ. Being able to Challenge is super handy and can save your unit from casualties OR you can score some serious CR points against a flimsy human champion.

The rest of it looks ok. Rippers should rip stuff, Chameleons should shoot stuff. Deploy your Chamo's as Scouts and threaten those Warmachines immediately.
