    Lookin' awesome!

As for materials to use for bases, I cut my bases and movement trays from Bass Wood. You can find whole racks of it from Hobby Lobby back in the crafts section. I recommend taking a single plastic base in your pocket with you and then comparing the depths of the base with the depth of the wood. Then it's simply cutting out the shape you want with a hobby knife. I also recommend buying a package of the square dowels that are the same depth as the sheet of wood that you get. You can use them to make borders for your movement trays.

This is an image of what I'm talking about before painting it.

You can customize these trays to work for skirmishers as well. Here is an example of a unit of Skinks that I completed and made a movement tray for a little while back. The wood is sturdy and doesn't warp due to being painted. Make sure you get Bass Wood instead of Balsa Wood. Balsa Wood is too soft.

    I hope that helps!

Right then i just completed the first of my Primal Temple Guards...I dont know if i was able to get the albino look right but its my take on it and i might only have the champion have this paint scheme. Let me know what you think

I was attempting to recreate green obsidian this was my reference green obsidian.jpg

I also decided to paint the teeth/claws black so they would be a good contrast against the white pallet .

As always any comments/ Criticism is welcomed

Looks really good, very clean paintjob. I think you could give it a little more depth with a wash and a highlight, especially the skin and the shield to make them look more realistic. For the scales you could try drybrushing, but do it before painting the rest, it's a messy technique so you can clean up afterwards.

I think they look phenomenal! I especially love the green on the banner as well as the beige underbelly of the Warrior.

I think that you are losing a lot of detail in your pictures. For instance, it is really hard to see the blue body portion of your banner. I know you even took a detailed picture of it, and I can see where you did a touch of highlighting to it, but just barely. At first glance it comes across as one blue basecoat color. If you have the capability, use either natural lighting (outdoors) or use two lamps on either side of your target, placed slightly behind you, so that you can eliminate most of the shadow and glare that are causing you problems. I think that you'll be much more pleased with the results! :)

Thanks @NIGHTBRINGER @tom ndege , I am trying to push my self harder with each model i work on....Only 18 more conversions / paint jobs for the hole unit to be completed...

here is a question since a unit of (primal) saurus temple guards is 5 or more should i make 4 units of 5 with full command or two of 10, or should I have them be one big unit of 20 with full command (I can't decide...)

    edit

i also began to work a bit on my bastiladon...

Looking really good and I have a few handy tips that may help you with getting more detail into your models without too much hassle.

Eye sockets and mouth always paint them black or dark brown first, then when you paint in the eyeball leave a little black/brown around the edges same with the teeth it helps them standout from the skin colour, you can do the same for fingernails/claws as well.

When you do your eyes try adding a small dot of white to represent light reflection use a 00 brush and water it down a tad you want to just touch the eye with the very tip of the brush.

And best tip I can give you ALWAYS CUT AWAY FROM YOURSELF!!!! :D

@Crowsfoot all but the first cut are made from cutting away...the plastic cuts hard then slips free with little warning....but I did not hurt to much

And thanks for the tip on the eyes I find them the hardest to do. I tend to overlap a bit

Maybe you'd think about something like this:

Just for the safety aspect! ;)

Nice little stone by the way...
