    Looks real tough! It´d pass the wall and stairs test! (They consist on throwing the mini against the wall and down stairs and see if it survives)

    Thanks @Jorgik & @n810 . It's only made of pine, but I think it will be sturdy enough (though I won't be throwing it down the stairs, lol :p). The walls are pretty thick (19mm) because I had a lot of stock of that thickness. The rest of the components (aside from the chimney) will be comprised of 4mm thick poplar (once again due to availability).

    With that thickness of wall, I guess It will have a toughness of 10 and a 2+ ward save against canon shots ;).

    Just making terrain at the moment. I'll probably end up using 8th edition rules, though I usually treat buildings as impassible terrain to simplify the rules for my wife.
    When finished it should measure 15 cm wide, 9 cm deep and just under 10 cm tall (excluding the chimney)
    It has to withstand the end times!

    Wow! This is going to be a great piece of terrain when finished! Any plans on how you do the walls? Some stone or brick texture like @Crowsfoot's tower?

    @tom ndege, the thing with @NIGHTBRINGER is he does some really nice terrain pieces, (but not enough) have a look at the wall he built further back in his blog.

    Actually I built this piece to test out a new technique/idea. I plan to dremel in the appearance of stone work. Not sure how it will turn out, but I could always make a new one if it gets befouled.
    Thank you! The technique I used for the wall will be utilized for the second house that I started earlier. It is both larger and more complex than this one, so I figured I would use the more laborious technique on that one! :)

    It's pretty simple.... time consuming but simple. I didn't add any pigment to it, that was just the natural colour of the sand I used.
