Oh come on you live in Canada, you're not a citizen until you wrestle a bear. You're bigger than the spider! Just squish it.
Hello. Wife of Bob here. It's true. It's one of the reasons I married him. I don't like large spiders. He cuddles them and takes them outside. The bigger the better. I'm usually standing on the couch screaming. I'm ok with snakes however...
Those are just bears though... not giant spiders. After my startled shock I tend to regroup, weaponize and execute order 66. Some of my previous weapons of choice have included... book baseball bat canoe paddle bug spray and lighter (flamethrower!) electric bug swatter shoe wooden board army/survival knife (cut the bastard clean in half!) I don't blame you... disgusting creatures. When I spent 10 months in Australia I was quite paranoid at first and vigilante throughout my stay. I'm happy to say that I was lucky enough not to run into any funnel web spiders while I was there. I did see quite a few redbacks.
We don't have poisonous spiders here but some do grow big probably nothing like what you get over there but I still think you should man up
We don't have it too bad over here either; no poisonous spiders. I do man up (sort of )... after an initial flight, I swing the odds further in my favour via weapons and fight!
Shepard's Kiwi riding mower with grass catcher. Ps. wait are there no black widows or brown recluse in Canada ?
If there are, they are exceedingly rare. I have yet to see one. They must not like the cold very much and the Canadian winter is a harsh mistress.
There are, we have both in Alberta, Brown recluse is pretty rare here but they make it over. But either take them outside or squish them. That's true, it's usually catch and release for me, but if they worry you that much, do what you gotta do.
