Aaaaaaaaand you all still stuck at PokeBob Tag! Am I going to need to tell you the rules or something?
@spawning of Bob You're officially tagged. Caught in my ball you'll be stuffed in my pocket until the end of days a.k.a. when i wash my shorts and don't empty the pockets.
Installed it, but not sure exactly what to do I will admit that I have not immerse myself in the game, but only catch a few pokemon when waiting for friends. It does look weird when you pointing your cellphone to someone, and sticking your tongue (better chances to catch a pokemon if you stick your tongue out). Not sure what to do after catching pokemon, how am I suppose to train them? I need a Pokemon Go guide for noobs.
You upgrade your Pokemon using stardust (gained from catching Pokemon) and candy (gained from catching and transferring specific Pokemon.) You evolve your Pokemon by collecting the aforementioned candy. Upgrading takes an increasingly large amount of stardust, whilst evolving is the same but with regards to candy. You gain XP for yourself by catching Pokemon, visiting Pokestops, hatching eggs, and training at gyms. Gaining XP levels you up. The higher your level the higher the chance you have of encountering rare and more powerful Pokemon, and the more items you gain access to. Gyms can only be accessed at Level 5+. Before you start training at gyms you must choose a team (#TEAM_MYSTIC_FTW.) Gyms operate on "prestige". Training at gyms owned by your team increases their prestige, whilst fighting at other team's gyms decreases theirs. When a gym's prestige is low enough it can be taken over. When taking over a gym you leave a Pokemon there to defend it, if beaten the Pokemon returns to you. When your Pokemon is defending a gym you can claim defender's points (coins and stardust) from the shop menu, but it can only be done once every 24 hours. Increasing the prestige of your gym can make it level up, meaning other team members can leave their Pokemon there to help defend it. Noob no more!
