8th Ed. Terradons dropping rocks

Do all of the terradons in a unit have to fly over a target to drop rocks?

How do you resolve attacks?

Say three out five can fly over a cannon

is that just three attacks, five attacks or no attacks?

if one of them flies over the target,
then all of them can drop their rocks,
there are D3 rocks per terradons.
I believe they resolve as a strength 3 shooting attacks,
that happens in the end of your movement phase.

 

Ah many thanks we are doing a weird 500 point unit only battle any race against any race so i was going to try out 14 Terradons lol

 

Do keep in mind that you can only drop rocks once per game. (per unit)
try and do it early before one of the terradons gets killed.

 

and go for some beefy and hard unit so that you can expect some high point kills due to the no-save

Saves are permitted against the dropped rocks.

Actually it deals D3 mortal wounds so no save...yeah

 

The rules state so

 

Wrong edition, they are talking 8th edition not AOS.
