The last images look like they'd make a nice Slann dwelling

    Thanks all!

I really need a better way to divide up all my various topics more effectively....
I'll update the very first page in a little bit with all the links.

But for now, although not a true tutorial, I want to show you all the results of last week off work, this part however DOES have two very important points that go with it.

    1: Planning
Start with the head by all means, but ALWAYS be aware of comparative scale! This is perhaps the third body I've done for Gor-rok and he is definitely Kroxigor sized.

    2: Making mistakes
Everyone makes mistakes, I'm still a firm believer that you don't learn from your triumphs, but you do from your mistakes, given the number of different snags I hit with the body for this piece, I think it serves as a good illustrator (lol pun) for anyone who looks at the work done by semi-pros and pros alike, they do not get it right first time. Even if the putty is still wet, you can bet money on them having to re-work or resculpt at least one portion of every model they do.

In addition to all this, I also wanted to point out what I was saying about mixing in a small amount of fimo soft with your green stuff, you get a considerable amount of time back (at least an hour, if not two extra hours) and the putty will blend much more easily (stick loads of blobs together on an armature and try to hide the joins, it's not easy) and hold sharper detail.

Still loads more to come on this one, but I will say look at the torso/rib cage area of this piece and remember what it looks like, the blending I mentioned just above will be a big part of the changes you'll see in the next update.

We were just thinking of partnering up. I'm a part of TMS (www.tabletop-miniatures-solutions.com) we make miniatures. While Ricard is a talented sculptor, some good things could come out of it.

Yeah. Hype aside, we have enough saurus hero on foot. Maybe woke skink variations? Slann? Or Sven better- rank units? Core saurus warriors?

I want to say your work is amazing, and I appreciate the mini tutorials. They have helped me get an idea where to start on some projects I'm working on.

    Thanks all! :)

Well, I've done a test video, so (focus being a "slight" issue) I should be able to do some video work.
    *WARNING*

Minor swearing and plenty of messing things up within.

Got to sort out a decent mic, will be using a light box or similar too to sort out focus issues.
    I even have a go-pro somewhere.
