    Thanks for the index. :vulcan:

I had to take a few minutes and go back through your entire blog. It is jaw dropping to say the least.

You bring a huge amount of color to life on all your work! My favorites overall are your painting for your stegadon, especially the howdah:

    The Transformation of Kadon!!!:

And I also really like your GS molds that you used to create bases and other bits and bobs that add huge amount of great Lizardy detail to your works!

    Thanks for the inspiration!

Sure @Crowsfoot, this is what I got:

    1. Airbrush: Iwata Eclipse dual action, gravity feed

    2. Compresor: Iwata Smart Jet Pro

Remember to also buy all the other stuff ( acrilic thiner, cleaner, cleanning pot etc)

To be honest I havent had much time to practice with it but the times I have I have loved it.

Let me know if you need any ither advice

Cheers man, I have looked at the Iwata HP-CS Eclipse and I will check out yours, I have a supplier at work that can get them at discount and I can also put it through work and save the tax.

I bought Scale-Color from Scale75 paints, They work for both airbrush and brush. Although I haven't yet tried them with the airbrush, I have heard that this is a hard range of paints to learn airbrushing with because they are very thick and need a lot of acrilic thiner.

However I bought them because they have really bibrant collors, they dry very mate, and their metalics are simply the best out there. I have used them with a brush ( to paint my golden serpent entry ) and I can't recomend them enough! They are simply the best paints I have used this far ( keep in mind that I dont mind having to thin them )

If I remember correcly the price for the Scale75 pot is about 3.5USD which is a little beter then the GW air range at 4.25USD.

I have also heard thet the Vallejo Air color is a good alternative, however I have never used it in any way so I am not sure about how it works.

Ive got my Airbrush and compressor now (still in the box unopened) and I have a good budget due to selling stuff on ebay to spend on items I need so I was going to buy the complete citadel range for £152 as it is discounted but I also looked at the complete Forge world set at £170 so unsure which direction to take atm, I'm not in a rush so will research a bit more before taking the plunge.

@Crowsfoot, I have never air brushed, but many who have praise this brand:

    http://www.warcolours.com

They are made and shipped from Malta, and are rather inexpensive. I have some of their colours and the quality is really high. Also, they are very thin and I have read that they are good for air brushing straight from the bottle or with only minimal thinning.

I found the complete citadel range for £121 so purchased that, 2 reasons, price and I know which colour does what. I have all the bits needed on order now just waiting for delivery, I've even bought a test model to practice on!

But thank you for taking the trouble to try and help me with the decision.

No problem, mate. I think Citadel colours are pretty great, so I'm sure you made a good call. With that amount of colours you won't have to do a lot of mixing of paints, which makes the results more reproducible. Waiting eagerly to see both of your results!
