I am excited for this! I haven't played it, but I am a big fan of the malifeaux models. Especially the hog farming gremlins but all the factions have this great style to them. But given your Wyrd Science and the Pretty in Pink entries, I am pumped to see this go up!

Yes please! I still want that butterfly tutorial!

Umm, I think I already said that I'd love to see your Infinity miniatures about a year ago. So bring it!

Ok first things first and I think my comment is for the whole community.

We don't care what you paint and show as long as you paint and show, we don't care if it's warhammer or infinity or bolt action just keep posting.

    And do the tutorial

I would love you to do a step by step on blending showing your mix ratios, your brush, your layers.

There's nothing wrong (for us) with 8th edition either. As we get older we seem to get busier too. It would take us 4-5 hours to play 1500 point games and that's time we just don't have anymore. After the end times we looked for other games for the first time and discovered that skirmish games were best suited for us. Not only are they quicker to play but the low model count means you can really lavish the detail on when you paint them, which of course I like.
Now this sounds like Age of Sigmar would be perfect for us, after all we already have the models, but it's a matter of perspective. We love to really get into the story when we game, and AOS's fluff feels like a betrayal to us, a stranger wearing a friend's face. We've tried using the old fluff but there's always this lingering, depressing feeling that it's all gone.
Sorry about that. I've had a lot of people pressuring me into liking Age of Sigmar and I needed to get that off my chest. To summarize, I still like big, regimental wargaming but nowadays I like little games.

Sounds like I'll be taking lots of pictures soon then.

I feel exactly the same about AoS, I want to like it... but it just feels like a lazy rewrite. Keep us informed on future projects and armies please, your work, skill and talent is inspiring to see, even for people of almost no talent like myself.

Ah OK that makes sense if you an oldhat at the hobby. Well I like seeing you work ... and as a new hobbyist myself I will buy enough age of Sigmar models for the three of us :)

With the Old Ones as my witness, I promise to never pressure you into liking Age of Sigmar :p

I've heard KoW is considerably quicker to play than WH. Couldn't that be an option?

I can back that up, 1-2hrs for a 1500 point game and we are pretty new to it.

You might have to be more specific there on original models. If it's anything in this thread, the bright greens were whatever brightest greens in the Citadel range. Moot green I think, or Scorpion green if we're talking the older range.

Ah, the good old days. A game every weekend, freshly painted models each time. I had more hair back then too.
