Today I've played against Beast Claw Riders Ironblaster 160 Thundertusk 320 Icebrow Hunter 160 Frostlord on Stonehorn 460 3 of Mounfung Pack 400 3 of Mounfung Pack 400 I used the same one as above (chameleons2*5 insted of 1*10, quite usefil small units in small save terrein high rocks etc.), he got bit more points and used any way Beast Claw Alliance and smashed me to the level zero. How to play against him? Possible rebuild of army? Maybe fit Slann? In place of Krox? Or drop Skinks? Keep Skink Patrol based on terradon and 2*5 each chameleons + And Carnosaur oldblood 2*5 each knights + scar on Cold one + stegodon? Maybe bastiladon? Maybe Slann? Eternity warden? 1540-1560 its max points. Next time he will play 1540 points. Beast Claw Alliance Whitout Ironblaster.
Are you playing for objectives? Its important. I have a good ogre player in my city. He is the biggest threat to my saurian supremacy. He offen fields beastclaw. The key to succes? Use regular skinks as a screen against stonehorn. That SOB can charge you in turn one. And when he does, he anihilates your most precious units. Guards are a good second-line unit, use them as counter charge. Preferable with skink priest and eternal starhost. Carnosaur is trash. Knights are trash. If both of you are ok with proxies, use dread saurian. Plus skink starpriest. Deal 2*d6 dmg when rolling 6 to wound. Now with this army composition the big problem will be thundertusk. Its range of that ice blast is OP. Try engaging him with rippers. 6 of them will be a nice option. It will be a hard ride, but believe me, you can do it! Option 2: Skinks as screen, astrolith beraer, thunderquake+slann. But that will require a 2k point game
Of your opponent is using a 1900 point list you guys should just up the game to 2k, that 400 points over is a massive difference.
So whats the 2000 pt list for this match? Based on what I have already? Maybe Scar-veteran on Cold one? I have one model aswel as: 10 extra chameleons, Slann, 20 Guards, 2 extra terradon, 2 salamander, 8 handlers and 15 Saurus with spears Maybe bastiladon? Troglodon?
Slann Starmaster 260 Skink Starpriest 100 Skink Priests 100 Eternity Warden 140 5 Saurus Guards 100 5 Saurus Guards 100 5 Saurus Guards 100 5 Chameleons 120 5 chameleons 120 3 Terradons 140 Stegodon 260 Bastiladon 300 3 Kroxigors 180 2 Salamander 120 6 Skink Handlers 80 Shadowstrike Starhost 120 Eternal Starhost 80 Total: 2420/2500 +10 Saurus Warriors, 10 skinks or 10 Guards?
Nice list, got the krox for crowd control and everything else for everything else! Personally I would drop 3 handlers and run your salamanders as 1 unit.

Sunblood as the General, also I would make one group of guard 10 instead of having 4 groups, that way they are all in the eternal starhost.
Oh yes, and also no, sorry, you paidfor the starhost, may as well give the abilities to as many models as possible, though there is an argument for keeping them in smaller units. At least you could capture 4 objectives with 4 different units. 4 different targets etc. The chameleons you could do either way and it just depends on how you want them to play. Be sure to make it very clear which are in shadowstrike and which aren't, opponent could get quite frustrated very quickly!
Defenitly 4*5units chameleons , they are mlre flex that way. Todey i lost my gamÄ™ because i put them 2*10. For 3000 we can drop Troglodon and 3 Skink Handlers and put in Engine of gods, Good idea? Aswell whats the 2500 best list made of tis Base? And what kind of artefacts? (. Can I just choose them instead of roll D6?)
I would definitely do the engine. As far as artefacts it is up to you and your opponent or your tournament organizer to decide if you choose or roll.
