They have some very nice bases, which is perfect for me as I havent taken the plunge into green stuff modeling yet.

I got the idea from @Joshua Horchler to try building a Skink Assassin. As luck would have it I had some green stuff coming already so I started working on that. I like how its looking so far, any tips would be greatly appreciated though.

The model is the Skink rider for a Troglodon, dagger from the star priest box and the other knife is from the terradon sprue I think.

 

This is great. Neat idea and execution.

That's too bad, a brilliant hooded greenstuff cape and dual wielding, a hooked dagger n the left hand and a straight dagger in the other. Looks smashing can't wait until it gets painted.

 

I tried to fix them, is it working now?

I only see one I the first post... but what I see in the other one looks really great! great idea!

 

Interesting idea... hopefully a match for the skaven assassins lurking out there. Maybe he is an assassin who hunts down lizardmen artifacts stolen by the skaven through their vast network of tunnels, maybe as far as skavenblight?? Curious about what direction the lore could go for this guy!

 

I really dig the cape and daggers, might have to steal this for the next time I get my hands on a trog priest

 

I started the painting, I'll post a few WIP shots when i get a chance. Also attempting to make a custom base for him, we will see how that turns out.

 

Here are some early shots, I'm still not sure if i like the cloak or not. I was thinking about going for this look on it in the end http://tibbsforge.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/space-marine-scout-camo-cloak-2.jpg But seeing it on this model i'm not sure if just a dark gray cloak would look better or not.

 

I kind of like the green look, gives it that Strider Aragorn look. Very cool with a dark green.

Painted and (mostly, maybe)based Skink Assassin! IDK if i'm 100% sold on all of it, might have to let it sit for a day or two and see how i feel haha.
