Troop Transport for skinks!!!! Diplodocus... Ok a bit silly and I had 40k in my head. But the idea of a platoon of skinks riding into battle on top of a diplodocus to make them a bit faster appealed
Daym if we get to take another dinosaur.. our - already most beautiful army - will go over the top in coolness !
I think a melee orientated version of the Bastiladon would be awesome. A more spikey, badass verson. Ankylosauridae inspired.
I can almost see the warscroll in my mind already! 10 move, 1 extra damage with its head attack when charging and +4 on charge distance, 6 wounds, save 4. Attacks with its head, 1 attack 3/3/-2/d3 Also 2 attacks with its bite 4/4/-/1 And 1 tail whip attack 4/3/-/1 Cost 100 points.
I don't know about new units, but I'd wish they'd reprint a lot of our old ones. So much is online only exclusives and they are always sold out.
I'd like some Dilophasaurus, with their frilly bits I think they'd be fun to paint. Just more dinosaurs really!!
...what about snakemen? Or perhaps some heavy monstrous cavalry (whatever the AoS equivalent of that is)
you know at bear minimum I would like for our whole range to be plastic instead of resin. I would like a whole set of oldbloods...well hell anything new...
I have 3 ideas about new seraphin units 1. Heavy saurus cavlary 2. Light skink cavlary 3. Dinosaur Artillery. Maybe lava dinosaur that fire lava balls?
It'd b nice if someing more was done with our saurus and skink troops. Skinks aren't too bad as at least they frequently show up riding our various big dinosaurs, but especially saurus don't seem to show up all that much. And they don't do anything particularly cool either, mostly just bringing numbers so our behemoths aren't so lonely. It's not that they're bad troops, but they just feel rather boring next to a carnosaur, or even next to the three variations of paladins the stormforged have... Give some variation.. Also, it'd be nice if we got some fancy troops that aren't behemoths or leaders... we seem to have relativly few troops with the battleline or without any keyword in comparison to how many leaders & behemoths we have. And thanks to the cap on leaders & behemoths for the various gamesizes, and their relative pointcosts, this means you can't field a lot of our cool stuff at the same time. Which further makes the lack of saurus & skink variation worse as you end up with the 1 or 2 behemoths "supported" by a metric ton of saurus instead of a bunch of saurus supporting 4-5 behemoths.... I wanne field cool stuff, dont'give me models that have a hard cap On a sidenote, were behemoth or leader based armies such a problem that they needed to limit that? Shouldn't the relativly high pointcost already balance that out? I mean, it makes sense to have X battleline from a "realistic" point of view, but was it needed for balance?
