Thank you Bracnos and Bowser! I normally do the same. Put some glue on, put a lot of grass on top of it and see what sticks. and then blow it in shape. What do you think of my basing so far?

Hay your base work is just as good as mine was when i began this hobby a bit 9vwr a year ago. So you doong good, only thing i would say is buy some aquarium plants cut pats to size ect...and you can try more Scenic base work.

Like this guy is my favourite lizard so far

Well since my last post I have been thinking and searching for basing materials and took a break from painting. I bought some aquarium plastic plants and found some dead sticks and rocks/sand in nature. I thing this should improve my basing. Today I started up my painting again (got my summer vacation). I finished 8 models of my skink unit including my champion, except for the basing. First I want to finish all the paint work.

My husband thought of starting to play mordheim (the game from 1999, I believe). So we bought the book and start putting together my warband. And played the first match last saturday. The match was 9 lizardmen against 10 orcs and goblins. The lizardmen needed to defend the area of wyrdstone against the invading orcs. After taking out 3 orcs champoins, the shaman and 2 goblins, the lizardmen won!!! Hurray!!! Lost my saurus champion after a single magic bolt from the orc shaman. But we won. It was a fun game.

The best part of mordheim in my opinion is the campaigns, so if you´re able to play them, do so because that´ll add another dimension to the game as you´ll find yourself worrying about the next game instead of the one you´re actually playing :joyful:
