I love how so many adamant cat lovers come out to desperately defend the felines but you don't see dog lovers doing the same for the pooches (or even feeling the need to do so).

In the battle between two furry, carnivorous quadrupeds, My money will always be on the scaly, carnivorous quadruped. I vote for the Komodo Dragon with the pink collar called "Fluffy".

Everything exists. If not, than you wouldn't be here. Besides, look in the gallery for proof of Troglodons existing.

I should clarify... it doesn't currently exist in non-plastic form.

Until somebody makes a greenstuff model of it. There is art of Troglodons, and if you view a Troglodon image on an electronic device you are looking at the digital form of a Troglodon.

None of those things are going to take out a Komodo Dragon.

You need to do better than a Troglodon as an inanimate object.

Because the universe is infinite, there might be some other planet that happens to have Troglodons. Also, there's an infinite amount of universes in the multiverse, each one different from each other. Troglodons might be found in one of those universes.

You're really stretching there. The universe may be infinite, but scientists don't really know and there are different ideas/theories. If the universe was infinite, then not only would you find something like a Troglodon but there would be infinite numbers of them. Infinity is a strange beast. There would actually exists infinite numbers of you that go around killing cats for fun.

With infinity, anything that is possible, will occur an infinite number of times.

and that's even before you add in the multiverse theories.
Where there are an infinite amount of universes.

Where the laws of physics could vary between universes. Then just about anything is possible.

Of course, we must bear in mind that we have no experimental or observational proof of multiple universes or even an infinite universe. They might exist, but we don't know for certain.

Even if there is a troglodon somewhere in the universe, we're still debating about things on Earth.

And anyway, i barely see how a Komodo dragon is fitting in a thread about dogs vs cats... ;)

Agreed. @PhoenixTheCat was doing a little bit of stretching as a result of what I believe to be desperation.

You'll have to ask @Lord Grok Of Xillaqua :joyful:

You never stated the limits. Therefore I started musing about life in other universes. You should consider the consequences of your actions more.

I think it fair to assume that "dogs vs. cats" as the topic title should be sufficient in terms of establishing the topic's limits. I don't think adding "earth bound..." is required.
