I had this conversation last night! She was saying the kids told her how much the new 40k stuff was... I asked her how much her monthly makeup loot crate was along with other things she buys! In short, I now have a larger hobby budget. Regarding army choice... I think I'll paint up models until I find something I like a lot and go from there.
Ok. The nails thing I agree with and understand. If she has synthetic over top of her natural nails getting nails done is required or they will start to cause pain over time. Honestly this is why I started my Etsy store. Easy way to squirrel some funds away.
This is a whole world of win!! Love it! Or she could just keep her nails natural. They won't hurt and it costs nothing!
Let the healing process begin. Eventually they will return to a healthy normal. The alternative is to dish out cash for acrylics until the end of time. The cycle has to be broken at some point.
New 40k art. I see some new beasts of nurgle in the bottom left corner, and a 10.000 year old sack of filth Who might this be?
New dreadnought, looks better than the original, but that is just my opinion. Gee, i truely wonder what this can mean. My money is on that they are talking about sanguinius.
Mortarion. I also dislike the dreadnought. It looks like they slapped a storm bird cockpit on legs. It's supposed to be a walking tomb with guns.
which one do you like most of these two? "even in death, i don't skip legday" Or the Greyknight baby carrier?
i dunno about you, but i think GW are making the Spacemarines a little too big. You gotta give it too them, they have the best prices. And if you disagree, they slash you in halv.
But it's great for the people who wanted ti bring back the stunties, don't know if they wanted rhem in space marine form, but throw a beard on it and done!
Oh man, truer words have never been on the internet. I envy you. I made this point many a year ago and the reply I got was "But I need these things, you just have a hobby". Love the new-look dread. It's pretty much what they should have redesigned the regular ones to look like a-la the Eldar Wraithlord redesign way back in 4th. I can definitely see myself Chaos-ing one of these things up! The Captain's datasheet is kind of what I expected leader-type dudes to be, so that's cool. The jump marines though? Who though giving each one TWO assault 3 heavy bolters was a good idea? Are they actively trying to keep Heavy Bolters securely locked away in the armoury never to be seen again?
