Fun fact: I never met Bowser myself. I played my first Mario game pretty late since I have never been into consoles (I was a PC fan) or handhelds (my parents didn't buy me a GameBoy so I could only occasionally play on somebody else's and I disliked the rudimentary graphics). Those games are pretty hard, I think I stopped playing through Super Mario World at around 2/3 of the game. Kids tend to try those levels a hundred times and beat them that way, I was too old for that already. Fun fact: I like platformers, but I HATE when you can't just stop and look at what you see and solve the problem. So being used to games like Commander Keen which had "nice" graphics, proper savegames, nonlinear levels and didn't autoscroll I was very uncomfortable with Mario games.
At least Bowser with have a heap of images to cycle through for his Avatar if he wanders back in here. His profile is saying he was last seen June 27? That's not so far ago??
True, but it is still a very stark contrast to the guy that was on here virtually all the time. Also, his last post was made all the way back on June 5... that''s over a month ago.
On the 20th he hadn't been seen for 10 days... So he reappeared at some point at least briefly, even if he didn't post. That's a good sign.
The massive number of notifications blowing up his email prolly made him believe his account here had been hacked.
Except that it is odd that he didn't update his status. With all the tags concerning his whereabouts, I'd have thought he'd write a very quick update. After all, we're talking about perhaps the only forum member who's posting frequency contends with my own. I hope all is well with him. Maybe he is just extremely busy.
Well, Bowser mentioned a while back he was engaged, so maybe he is just on a really long honeymoon, with no wifi.
